Yucatan ATV Explorer Tour

Put some adventure into your Mayan Riviera vacation with jungle ATV tours. Hop onto an ATV and take a tour through the wild Mexican Jungle. During this 2 hour tour you will experience some of the beauty and adventure that the Yucatan Peninsula has to offer.

You will meet up at a coast-side location south of Playa del Carmen. The tour starts with a briefing on the features of your ATV and general safety rules. Then you're off for two hours of non-stop fun! You'll drive through the dense jungle on your way to the Monkey Loop, named after the spider monkeys that can be spotted there when their favorite fruits are growing on the trees. No, not bananas!

Our first stop is at an impressive cenote, a crystal clear freshwater pool in the jungle where you’ll get the chance to jump in and cool off. Snorkeling masks will be provided so you can check out the amazing stalactites underwater, formed millions of years ago. The path to the cenote runs through the jungle so make sure you wear some comfortable shoes.

Next you’ll see some ancient Mayan ruins, hidden by years of jungle growth and almost overgrown by vegetation; you can still admire the amazing architecture of these historic structures hundreds of years later!

The tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to some truly spectacular dry caves. These caves, formed millions of years ago, are actually dry cenotes. Filled with majestic limestone decorations (stalagmites and stalactites), they are so large that you get the feeling they go on forever. As you walk out of the cave you will see hundreds of sleeping bats hanging of the ceiling, Shhh, don't wake them up.

The ATV Adventure Tour is located just a few minutes South of Playa del Carmen. Transportation is available through us at an additional cost.

Upon payment, you will receive your PayPal receipt immediately and your tour confirmation and pick up info within 48 hours. The balance of your tour payment and any applicable transportation fee is due in cash, US dollars or Mexican pesos on the day of the tour.
